Why your Esthetician can’t solve your skin problems…alone.

So. you booked your first facial and you’re excited for your skin worries to be cured right?

If only it was that easy. While your Esthetician is trained and educated (hopefully) in treating skin, there are a ton of factors that play a role in skin health. Although we all have skin, not all skin is the same. Despite there only being 5 skin types ( Oily, Combination, Dry etc.) there are hundreds of skin conditions that exist, not to mention other physiological and psychological factors that affect our skin. Hello stress.

An Esthetician can treat your skin but it is ultimately up to YOU to make the commitment to do the work. I know, why can’t we just drop our body off at the shop at pick it up brand new? Ugh.

Think of your Esthetician as your skin personal trainer. You hire us to assess your skin, ask you the right questions and ultimately come to an understanding of your skin goals. In turn we begin to “train” aka treat your skin when you come in to see us in studio. Following your service you’re provided with a skincare regimen to perform at home (your workout) and are also recommended lifestyle changes based on your consultation that will help you reach your goal on an internal level.

Just like one workout or salad won’t get you a dream body, one treatment is most likely not going to get the results you want.

If you’re ready to make a commitment to yourself to achieve your skin goals, your Esthetician can be a great mentor in guiding you to the correct treatments and products for your goals. Skin health, like overall health is a lifestyle and not a trend. Practice self love and book your skin health assessment today for your healthiest skin yet. No viral TiK Tok recommendations here.
